Denbigh Sprint Triathlon is a friendly pool based triathlon set in the historic 11th century border town of Denbigh in the heart of the Vale of Clwyd and has a rich history as a royal residence of Welsh Princes and the focal point of consolidation of power in the North Wales region. The architecture is stunning and is adorned by the imposing Denbigh Castle which overlooks the town as its protector.
Denbigh Triathlon is now in its 5th year and is an ideal race for both beginners/novice athletes through to the more experienced athlete looking for a fast time or to sharpen up those skills. The pool is flat, the bike is a fast gently undulating with an odd lump out and back course followed by a lumpy run to finish your day.

Our event is open to all triathletes from Novice athletes, Youth athletes, through to GB age groupers and World class athletes, so why not give it a go.
Race registration will open at approximately 6:30am and will be a rolling registration with the first wave of swimmers expected in the pool at 7:30am.
Please allow yourself at least 1 hour to register, set up and familiarise yourself with registration and be poolside 10 minutes before your wave start time.
Start times will be published on the Thursday pm prior to the event.
